REVISING means to look again and see how your writing can be made more clear or more detailed. You probably need to add even more details and specific information. Remove anything that is off-topic. Upgrade your vocabulary to more sophisticated language. Avoid starting most of your sentences with "I" or "My."
EDITING means fixing errors in spelling, punctuation (commas, periods, apostrophes, etc.), and capitalization. Capitalize all proper nouns! Be sure to avoid sentence fragments (only a piece of a sentence) and run-on sentences (those that go on and on and need to be stopped with a period, a comma + a conjunction, or a semicolon).
Tuesday night - Complete TWO of the four choice activities. Review writing process notes for an easy quiz on Thursday.
Wednesday night - Put your poster together at home. The required elements include a title, a recent photograph, the final copy of the three-paragraph essay, and two choice activities. Print neatly or type your writing. Review writing process notes for an easy quiz on Thursday.
