Military Connected Students
Wake County Public School Schools will begin to annually identify enrolled military connected students beginning in the 2015-2016 school year. House Bill 1060, was approved by the North Carolina General Assembly effective July 1, 2015, requiring the State Board of Education to identify enrolled military connected students. WCPSS will begin its annual identification using the Military Connected Students (MCS) form. Military connected student information is not public record and will not be used for the purposes of determining school achievement, growth, and performance scores. Please look in your child's homework folder for this form the week of August 3rd, and return the form by August 12th.
Thanks to all that were able to attend the Open House on Thursday, July 16. Present or not, the PowerPoint slide shows are posted below for each of the core teachers. Feel free to look through them and ask questions if needed.
Swanson - Social Studies
Sugg - Science
Mullen - Math
