A Message from Your Yearbook Staff...
Hello students! This years' Yearbook Staff needs your help! We need YOU to send in pictures of your summer fun to email@example.com ASAP! The guidelines are as follows:
We need as much help as we can get, so send in as many as you would like! Spread the word! :)
Announcements & Other Info
Congratulations to Chandler de Jong!
He won the 6-1 Geography Bee and will be competing on January 9th in the school-wide bee. We wish him the BEST of luck as he competes against fellow 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-graders from Salem Middle.
Also, congratulations to the runners-up: Emma Sampson and Luke Brezac. They put up a good fight, too!
Quarter 3 Schedules & Electives
We'll be distributing Quarter 3 schedules on January 5th, the first day of quarter 3. Your electives will be posted, as will the core classes you are currently enrolled in. If you are scheduled to the "wheel" as one of your electives, the wheel cycle is posted HERE.
MATH IN THE MALL
THANK YOU to all the students, parents and chaperones for making our field trip a HUGE success! Not only did we get to do math :) but we were able to give Christmas to 6 children from the angel tree at Cary Towne Center.
Students have the opportunity to rework or retake assessments that score a 76% or lower (for MOST classes). If an assessment qualifies, a "reworks sheet" will be stapled to the paper and will have an expiration date stamped on it. The "reworks sheet" MUST be completed IN FULL by the expiration date. Reworks MUST be completed within 5 school days.
