Salem's iTravel Club is excited to announce our 2018 destination - Puerto Rico! We'll be heading out in March 2018, so we have just over a year to plan. Please join us in the evening of February 28th for an introduction to this travel opportunity. We'll meet at 6:30 pm in Salem's media center.
Information regarding the trip can be found at EF's site, including the itinerary, reviews, cost, etc.
Please RSVP by emailing Ms. Taylor at email@example.com . You can also stop by my room (511) to ask questions and pick up info.
Hope to see you on the 28th so I can share with you the benefits of education-based travel.

We were inundated with sweet treats, thoughtful thoughts, and other delectable gifts from students and families last Tuesday on Valentine's Day. Thank you so much for thinking of us on that special day. We truly appreciate every kind word, morsel of chocolate and candy, and gifts that came our way. As always, thank you for showing us "the love!"

Illnesses, Student Work, & End of Quarter Responsibilities
On our team today, 22 students were out sick. We hope those kids are feeling better sooner than later and getting the rest they need. At school, we'll continue to clean desks, chairs, and doorknobs, and encourage the kids to use hand-sanitizers, wash hands with soap, and be mindful when it comes to sharing.
Whether students are out sick or at school, checking the Weebly regularly and keeping up with work is a continued expectation. We understand that as kids are battling illnesses, they are not always able to finish work. Anything they can complete while sick is applauded. We also appreciate the continued communications from parents in regards to what kids can work on or cannot.
The end of the quarter is quickly approachomh and so are deadlines. Please continue to check PowerSchools to see that all student work is completed. Missing work can easily upset the GPA. Avoid this whenever possible and communicate with teachers about work status.
Only 9 school days left!!
